PARTHA

At an early age of eighteen, Partha first began learning keyboard from Sri Tapash Kumar Choudhury in addition to learning the classical piano. Partha Gupta is one of the popular key boardist known by the local Bengali community and abroad. Moreover he first launched his music career at the tender age of five.  He also played as the lead keyboardist for the band "Chittangong Orchestra" .Then he migrated to New York City where he changed the color and flavor of Bengali music and created his band "New York Harmony and Orchestra". Partha has had the privilege to work with Sawkot Ali Emon and Fuad along with many famous singers from Bangladesh and India in the United States including Manna Dey, Bappi Lahiri , Sabina Yesmin, Baby Naznin, Andrew Kishore, Rezwana Coudhury Banna etc. He also surfaced his talent with SA RE GA MA PA singers, Bangladesh Close up One Singers etc. He has performed in various shows across the United States and aborad. Currently residing in New York, he is the lead key boardist in the Maati band.
